VOLTÉ Lift is being recognized as Best New Microcurrent Device in the United States of 2026, highlighting a new approach to at-home microcurrent technology.

At the center of the device is proprietary SMART ReactiV™, technology designed to read skin resistance during use and adjust voltage and current in response.

Rather than relying entirely on a signal determined before a session begins, VOLTÉ Lift Pro is designed to continually modulate its output according to the resistance it detects. Pulse rates range from 15 to 121 Hz, while intensity is adjustable from 0 to 250.

For VOLTÉ Lift, the technology represents an effort to rethink long standing assumptions in the at home microcurrent category, particularly the reliance on conductive gel and preset electrical output.

A Different Approach to Microcurrent

At home microcurrent has traditionally involved conductive gel and a predetermined electrical signal. VOLTÉ Lift was developed around the idea that neither needs to define the experience.

The company explains that dry skin is a poor conductor and that most microcurrent signals require a conductive medium to cross it. VOLTÉ Lift Pro instead uses a pulsed, damped, biphasic and asymmetric sinusoidal waveform. High frequency content is contained within each short damped burst, allowing the signal to cross dry skin without a conductive medium.

As a result, the device can be used on dry skin or over makeup without conductive gel.

“We did not improve the workaround. We removed the need for one. No gel, because the waveform crosses dry skin on its own,” said Michele Feinstein, CEO and Founder of VOLTÉ Lift.

SMART ReactiV™ Responds During Use

The defining technology inside VOLTÉ Lift Pro is SMART ReactiV™.

The system reads skin resistance during a session and adjusts voltage and current in response. Instead of following an output established entirely before use, the technology is designed to modulate as conditions change.

“Almost every microcurrent device decides its output before it ever touches you. Ours reads your skin while you are using it. It is never the same pulse twice,” Feinstein said.

Pulse rates range from 15 to 121 Hz, and intensity is adjustable from 0 to 250. According to the company, the output continually varies rather than following one unchanging pattern.

“The waveform changes with your skin. Resistance is not the same at your eye area as it is at your jawline, and it is not the same today as it was yesterday. A preset signal ignores all of that,” Feinstein said.

This responsive approach is central to how VOLTÉ Lift differentiates its technology.

Designed Without Conductive Gel

The absence of conductive gel is closely connected to the waveform used by VOLTÉ Lift Pro.

According to the company, the waveform carries the signal across dry skin without requiring a conductive medium. This allows users to operate the device directly on dry skin or over makeup, eliminating the need to apply and remove conductive gel.

The result is a simplified routine with no product to apply before use and nothing to wash off afterward.

The company also states that the underlying wave technology has been used in medical devices for two decades, while the waveform used by VOLTÉ Lift Pro is proprietary to the brand.

Four Modes and Multiple Application Areas

VOLTÉ Lift Pro includes four modes built around STIMULATE and SMOOTH, with each available for the face and eye area.

STIMULATE addresses the appearance of lift and tone, while SMOOTH addresses the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The device uses two corresponding movements called Stay and Sweep. STIMULATE uses a Stay technique, while SMOOTH uses a Sweep technique along a line.

The device can be used across the face, eye area, neck, body and scalp. A medical grade stainless steel wand is designed for precision work around areas such as the eyes, upper lip and jawline. The back plate is intended for broader areas including the arms, stomach, legs, back of the neck and scalp.

This allows one device to serve multiple areas rather than requiring separate tools for different parts of an aesthetic routine.

A Five Minute Routine

The Daily Face-Lift protocol is designed around five minutes per side, or approximately ten minutes for the full face, with use of up to once daily.

Additional protocols include General Maintenance, Targeted Touch-Up and Complete Facial routines. General Maintenance calls for 10 to 20 minutes up to three times weekly. Targeted Touch-Up calls for five to ten minutes up to three times weekly, while Complete Facial sessions can run for 40 to 60 minutes up to once weekly.

The brand's #LiftMyFace Challenge is based on using the device on one side of the face for five minutes and comparing the appearance of both sides.

“Five minutes on one side of your face. Then look in the mirror and compare. That is the whole argument,” Feinstein said.

Visible Appearance and User Experience

According to the information supplied by VOLTÉ Lift, lifting and tightening in the appearance of the skin can be visible immediately. The company states that an individual session can last seven to ten days and that results build with regular use.

Individual results vary based on individual circumstances, health history, diet, age, sun exposure, hydration and adherence to a regular session schedule.

The device is not positioned as barely noticeable. Users report a distinct pulse, with the most common comparison being a strong massage followed by a tighter feeling. Intensity is adjustable from 0 to 250, allowing users to determine their preferred level.

First time users often begin at a lower intensity before settling into their preferred setting over several sessions.

The Founder Behind VOLTÉ Lift

Michele Feinstein, CEO and Founder of VOLTÉ Lift, brings experience in both biotechnology and aesthetics to the company.

Feinstein owned and operated a leading medical spa in New York City for 15 years. Before that, she spent 11 years at a global biotechnology company training physicians in disease state management.

Her work has been featured on the TODAY show and recognized by Best of New York, Best of Westchester and Time Out New York. She is certified in biomagnetism and trained in Functional Diagnostic Nutrition and Frequency Specific Microcurrent.

Her experience in the treatment room helped shape the problem that VOLTÉ Lift set out to address. After years of watching clients develop increasingly complicated routines, Feinstein wanted to create technology that could fit more naturally into everyday life.

Her stated mission extends beyond the product itself: to change how women feel about aging.

Professional Grade Design and Specifications

VOLTÉ Lift Pro is an FDA 510(k) cleared aesthetic microcurrent device for over the counter aesthetic use, including facial and neck stimulation and body skin stimulation.

The device operates below 42 volts and below 500 microamps, with pulse duration below 2 milliseconds. It includes a 60 minute timeout and operates using two replaceable AA batteries.

The device is not waterproof and includes an internal water sensor. It is assembled in the USA.

The regular price is $1,695, with a stated launch price of $1,595. The product includes a 30 day money back guarantee and a two year warranty active from the day of purchase without registration. A third year is available as an added benefit for registering.

Recognition for a New Direction in Microcurrent

The Best New Microcurrent Device in the United States of 2026 recognition reflects the technology focused approach behind VOLTÉ Lift Pro.

For VOLTÉ Lift, two familiar aspects of at home microcurrent deserve reconsideration: conductive gel and preset output. SMART ReactiV™ addresses the latter by reading skin resistance during use and adjusting voltage and current in response. Its waveform addresses the former by allowing the device to operate without a conductive medium.

“Microcurrent has run on a bottle of gel and a preset signal for a decade. Both were treated as permanent. Neither had to be,” Feinstein said.

The result is a device designed around responsive technology, simplified use and multiple application areas.

A New Approach to At Home Beauty Technology

VOLTÉ Lift Pro brings together SMART ReactiV™ technology, gel free operation, four modes and applications across the face, eye area, neck, body and scalp.

Its central distinction is the responsive nature of SMART ReactiV™, which is designed to read skin resistance and adjust voltage and current during use instead of relying entirely on a predetermined output.

“I want women to expect more from this category than they have been asked to accept,” Feinstein said.

The recognition of VOLTÉ Lift as Best New Microcurrent Device in the United States of 2026 highlights the company's effort to introduce a different technology approach to the at home microcurrent market.
