Empress Balinese Massage: Best Prenatal Massage in UAE of 2026

Based in Dubai, Empress Balinese Massage brings premium home wellness directly to clients, with prenatal and postnatal care forming an especially important part of the brand. What makes the story distinctive is that this specialization did not begin as a marketing concept. It began with founder Amna Ibrahim's own pregnancy and her difficulty finding the standard of at home prenatal massage she was looking for.

A Personal Need That Became a Specialist Wellness Brand

Empress Balinese Massage began approximately three and a half years ago when Ibrahim was pregnant and searching for an experienced therapist who could provide the right equipment, expertise, and level of care in the comfort of her home.

Despite Dubai's extensive spa and wellness industry, she felt there was still room for a more specialized approach to prenatal massage at home.

“Empress started because, when I was pregnant, I couldn’t find the service I needed. Three and a half years later, thousands of client reviews have shown me that I wasn’t the only woman looking for it,” Ibrahim said.

She launched Empress with two therapists while continuing to work full time as an Executive Assistant. The company has since developed into a 15 person team, demonstrating how a personal search for better pregnancy wellness grew into a substantial home service brand.

A Deliberately Cautious Approach to Prenatal Massage

A significant factor in Best of Best Review's decision to name Empress Balinese Massage Best Prenatal Massage in UAE of 2026 is the company's specialist and intentionally cautious approach to pregnancy wellness.

Empress only offers prenatal massage from 20 weeks of pregnancy onward. Rather than treating prenatal massage as a conventional massage with a few modifications, treatments are specifically adapted for pregnancy.

Appropriate positioning, pregnancy pillows, carefully selected massage techniques, pressure preferences, and individual areas of concern are incorporated into the experience. The emphasis is on wellness, relaxation, and comfort without presenting massage as a replacement for medical care.

This distinction is important. Pregnancy changes the body considerably, and Empress has built its maternity offering around the belief that pregnant clients deserve a service specifically designed around those changes.

Senior Indonesian Therapists Bring Extensive Experience

Therapist expertise was another major consideration in the Best of Best Review evaluation.

According to Empress Balinese Massage, its senior Indonesian therapists have approximately 15 years of professional experience on average, with experience ranging from 7 to 27 years. The therapists have backgrounds in international five star hotels, and most come from Bali, with others from Java and Lombok.

Recruitment is also intentionally selective. Empress primarily recruits therapists through recommendations from members of its existing team rather than simply hiring to expand as quickly as possible.

That emphasis on experience and consistency is particularly relevant for prenatal massage and home wellness, where clients need to feel comfortable not only with the treatment itself but also with the professional entering their private space.

More Than 2,400 Client Reviews Reflect Long Term Trust

Client trust was another key criterion considered for the Best Prenatal Massage in UAE of 2026 award.

Empress reports 696 Google reviews and 1,735 Fresha reviews, representing more than 2,400 combined client reviews. The company reports maintaining a 4.9 rating across both platforms.

Empress also reports monthly client retention of approximately 60 to 65 percent. For Best of Best Review, repeat bookings are particularly relevant when evaluating a home wellness business. Returning clients can be an important indicator of consistency, therapist relationships, convenience, professionalism, and satisfaction with the overall experience.

Many clients also request the same therapists repeatedly, reinforcing the company's focus on developing long term relationships rather than relying solely on individual bookings.

Turning the Home Into a Private Wellness Space

Convenience alone does not define the Empress model. The company's goal is to recreate important elements of a premium spa experience inside the client's chosen environment.

Therapists arrive with the equipment needed to establish a professional treatment setting in homes, hotels, and other suitable spaces. Clients can experience their treatment without navigating traffic, waiting at a spa reception, or immediately traveling again after their session.

For pregnant women, parents, professionals, and clients who value privacy, that model offers a particularly practical alternative to traditional spa appointments.

Empress also offers couples treatments, allowing two people to experience massage simultaneously at home.

Prenatal Care Is Part of a Broader Wellness Philosophy

Although prenatal massage is central to this recognition, Best of Best Review also considered the depth of Empress Balinese Massage's wider treatment offering.

The company's services include authentic Balinese massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, aromatherapy massage, prenatal and postnatal massage, lymphatic drainage, post operative lymphatic massage, maderotherapy, hot stone massage, reflexology, and targeted face, head, and body treatments.

Empress also offers an experience combining massage and sound healing, bringing physical bodywork and deep relaxation together within a home setting.

This range supports a more personalized approach. Rather than treating every client according to an identical routine, treatments can be adjusted according to pressure preferences, areas of concern, and individual wellness goals.

Resilience and People Behind the Brand

Best of Best Review also considered the leadership philosophy behind Empress. During a challenging six month period for the business, Ibrahim made retaining and supporting the existing team a priority.

She stopped paying herself and personally supported the company while working to keep the team employed and paid. When business conditions improved, Empress began rebuilding with the same people the founder had worked to protect.

“For me, success isn’t just how quickly we grow. It’s whether our clients trust us enough to keep coming back and whether the people who helped build Empress are still growing with us,” Ibrahim said.

That philosophy helps explain why therapist retention, client relationships, and controlled growth remain important parts of the Empress identity.

Why Empress Balinese Massage Earned the 2026 Recognition

In selecting Empress Balinese Massage as Best Prenatal Massage in UAE of 2026, Best of Best Review considered its prenatal specialization, cautious pregnancy policy, therapist experience, authentic Indonesian massage expertise, treatment personalization, home service model, professionalism, client retention, volume of customer feedback, consistency, and commitment to women's wellness.

The brand's origins also give its prenatal specialization unusual relevance. Empress was created because its founder experienced the problem the company now seeks to address.

From an initial team of two therapists, Empress has developed into a 15 person wellness company with more than 2,400 reported client reviews and an ambition to contribute to higher standards for prenatal and postnatal wellness throughout the region.
