Sara Jodoin Coaching: Best Women’s Healing Coaching in North America of 2026

At Best of Best Review, the awarding committee recognizes professionals whose work reflects a meaningful commitment to the people they serve. In 2026, Best of Best Review recognized Sara Jodoin Coaching with the title Best Women’s Healing Coaching in North America of 2026.

The recognition reflects a coaching philosophy built around an important realization: some of the qualities women have spent years calling personality may actually have begun as survival adaptations.

Being the strong one, being independent, never asking for help, keeping everyone happy, giving more than receiving, and always staying composed can look like strengths from the outside. Yet for some women, these behaviors can also be signs of lessons learned during difficult experiences.

Sara Jodoin's work encourages women to examine these patterns with compassion rather than judgment.

When Strength Becomes a Survival Strategy

A woman can become exceptionally skilled at holding everything together.

She may be the dependable friend, capable professional, devoted mother, person everyone turns to during difficult moments, or the one who always says yes. Others may admire her strength without realizing how exhausting it can be to live inside that role.

This is the space where Sara Jodoin Coaching has developed its distinctive message.

Sara Jodoin is a women's healing coach, international speaker, and author of Journey Back to Self: Reclaiming the Woman Within. Her work focuses on helping women who have been strong for too long move away from survival based patterns and toward greater clarity, courage, self trust, and connection with themselves.

Her central message is expressed through the words, “You’re not broken. You are becoming.”

The Story Behind the Coaching

Sara's approach is closely connected to her personal experience.

Her story includes emotional and physical abuse, rebuilding her life in Canada, motherhood, reinvention, and a near fatal car accident that fractured her spine and changed the course of her healing journey.

The accident required physical recovery while also bringing deeper questions around safety, self worth, trust, and identity.

Her recovery became part of a larger transformation. At 43, Sara went on to place in the top 10 at a Spartan competition after surpassing personal records she had achieved before her accident.

That experience informs an important part of her coaching philosophy. Healing is not necessarily about returning to exactly who someone was before adversity. Sometimes it involves discovering who a person can become after it.

The Return to Self Method

At the heart of Sara Jodoin Coaching is the Return to Self Method.

The framework centers on the idea that women can identify patterns developed during survival and begin making conscious choices about which patterns they want to carry forward.

The method explores seven stages: pain, awareness, hope, practice, surrender, love, and happiness.

Each stage represents part of a broader process of reconnecting with the self.

Pain can create awareness. Awareness can create the possibility of change. Hope can make change feel possible. Practice can turn insight into action. Surrender can involve releasing the need to control everything. Love can create space for compassion. Happiness can become less about performing a perfect life and more about experiencing a life that feels authentic.

What Protected Them Then May Be Limiting Them Now

One of the most compelling ideas in Sara's work is the distinction between what once protected a person and what continues to serve them.

Pleasing people may have helped someone avoid conflict.

Perfectionism may have created a sense of control.

Independence may have protected someone from disappointment.

Overgiving may have helped someone feel needed.

Constant productivity may have created distance from difficult emotions.

These adaptations can develop as intelligent responses to difficult circumstances. The challenge comes when circumstances change but the patterns remain.

Sara encourages women to ask whether behaviors that once helped them survive are still helping them live.

Her message captures this idea clearly: “What protected you then may be limiting you now.”

Building Self Trust

Self trust is another central theme within Sara Jodoin Coaching.

For women who have spent years looking outside themselves for approval, validation, or permission, learning to listen inwardly can represent an important shift.

That can involve recognizing personal boundaries, acknowledging emotions, learning to receive without guilt, listening to the body, and becoming more comfortable making decisions based on personal truth rather than other people's expectations.

Sara's coaching philosophy emphasizes helping women become more loyal to themselves rather than dependent on a coach.

The approach places personal agency at the center. Rather than simply telling women what to do, the work encourages them to reconnect with their ability to hear and trust their own inner voice.

A Compassionate Approach to Healing

Best of Best Review also considered the tone and philosophy behind Sara Jodoin Coaching.

Sara does not frame the women she supports as broken people who need to be fixed. Her work encourages a compassionate examination of how experiences can shape the people they become.

Instead of asking, “What is wrong with me?” women are encouraged to consider what happened to them, what they learned from those experiences, and whether those lessons still belong in their lives.

The shift creates room for understanding while also creating room for personal choice.

From Survivor to Author

Sara's message extends beyond coaching through her book, Journey Back to Self: Reclaiming the Woman Within.

The memoir explores her personal journey and expands on themes at the center of her professional work, including resilience, self worth, healing, and reconnecting with the woman beneath protective layers built through difficult experiences.

The book provides another way for women to encounter Sara's message and recognize aspects of their own experiences.

Her work as an international speaker similarly allows her to bring these conversations into broader settings, where she addresses themes including survival strength, receiving, self trust, and returning to oneself.

What Sets Sara Jodoin Coaching Apart

Several factors contributed to the recognition from Best of Best Review, including lived experience, authenticity, clarity of purpose, compassion, practical guidance, communication, consistency of message, personal resilience, educational value, and the ability to translate personal experience into a structured coaching philosophy.

What distinguishes Sara Jodoin Coaching is the connection between those elements.

Sara's personal story provides the foundation. The Return to Self Method provides structure. Her book provides another expression of the message. Her speaking work extends the conversation.

Together, these elements create a consistent philosophy centered on helping women recognize survival patterns without allowing those patterns to define their future.

A Recognition of Purpose and Perspective

For Best of Best Review, the title Best Women’s Healing Coaching in North America of 2026 recognizes a distinctive approach to supporting women who have spent years surviving, adapting, and carrying more than others may realize.

Sara Jodoin Coaching brings together coaching, speaking, writing, and lived experience around one central message: a woman does not have to remain the person she became simply because that person helped her survive.

Sara expresses that philosophy through another powerful statement: “The person you became to survive may not be the person you need to remain.”

That idea offers a different definition of strength.

Strength can mean choosing again. It can mean receiving instead of constantly giving. It can mean setting a boundary. It can mean trusting an instinct that was once ignored. It can mean letting go of someone else's definition of worth.

And sometimes, strength can simply mean coming home to oneself.
